It started small, doesn’t it always? First I didn’t make time to post, but I kept to my workout schedule, for a while anyway. Then I would miss a workout a week, still not a big deal, or so I told myself. I shouldn’t have listened. Before long, maybe a month or two I pretty much stopped working out, perhaps not a conscious decision I just let my priorities get out of whack.
I started hitting the gym July 11, but it took this long to start posting again. Oh well, I’ve re-established my habit of stopping at the gym on my way home from work, I drive right past it. In fact I decided to skip a day because I had been pushing too hard and really wasn’t making any headway, I was going to rest a day, rethink my workout schedule and start over.
Instead I found myself pulling into the gym parking lot with out thinking, habit established. I cut back a little but still worked out.
